At the Mediation & Law Offices of Paula Robinson, I provide mediation services to couples who want to amicably end a relationship or who anticipate significant co-parenting issues after a divorce or separation.

In California, divorce mediation is a voluntary, non-adversarial process available to divorcing couples where both parties work towards an agreement with a mediator acting as a neutral third-party.

During the mediation process, both parties participate in creating a solution that emphasizes their individual needs and goals and addresses how to best serve the needs of their children. The mediator guides the couple through a structured process designed to foster an environment where the couple can reach a self-determined and reasonable agreement. If couples can reach an agreement at mediation, they can avoid going through adversarial proceedings in family court, saving time, expense, and further hardship.
